The exisitng single storey building was demolished and a new four storey retail and residential building was constructed by Rhino Construction Ltd
Planning called for the front facade to match the adjacent buildings.
We took site details and produced working drawings before manufacturing all the stone work for the windows, band course and cornice.
We also supplied new pilasters in red balmoral granite and the pilaster caps in GRP as these would have weighed over 300kgs if cast in stone and the new structure would not be able to support this weight without additional steel work.
