What is cast stone portico?
Stone Portico is a roofed structure held up by columns at the entrance of your property. Whilst portico porches can shield your home against the elements, such as sleet and snow, they also enhance the appearance of your house.
Our portico building process
We provide cad drawings for approval and construction and supply all the stone and the structural steel work. We work closely with an independent engineer who will detail all the structural steel and reinforcement. You would only need to form a roof and soffit.
We have hidden down pipes within pilasters or have formed openings in the stone work for rainwater outlets.
