Working with the clients we designed and supplied this cast stone fireplace mantel for their private house in Hampshire.
We produced design drawings and then the moulds were made in timber and silicone.
Finally the fire surround was cast in a bath stone finish.
The largest section (the head) weighed approximately 220kgs, we cast in reinforcing and lifting sockets to aid fixing on site. We also supplied the stones for the hearth.
